PERSONAL.

The death: occurred on Sunday of Mr Edward Groombridge, of Lincoln road, Masterton, who had not enjoyed the best of health for some time, and during recent months had been confined to his home. Horn in London in .1873, he settled in Wanganui 32 years ago. Five years Intel- he removed to Masterton, where he opened a confectionery business which lie conducted successfully until 191.9 when he retired. Mr Groombridge was a well-known howler, and was mi ex-President of the Park Bowling Club. The deceased is survived by a widow, a son and three brothers, one of whom is Mr Fred Groombridge of Feilding.
