V A representative meeting of .of the Longburn freezing works last night- decided to form a new union, following a lengthy discussion, and steps are now being taken to register the new union. This morning, when the works opened, ail the general labourers put in aid appearance, but the butchers did not attend. Plenty of volunteer labour offered, and a dozen butchers were placed on the hoards, which is all that is required by the works at present.
