MOTORING ACCIDENTS.
CHILD KILLED AT PETONE (Per Press Association) 'Wellington., Nov. 22. A fatality occurred at tl l <->, Esplanade, Petone, yesterday afternoon. Jack Pickles, aged 51, of 11 Vera street, Karori, was knocked' down on the Esplanade by a motor car driven by Mr Andrew P. Warring, of 179 Onepu road, Lyall Bay. Medical aid was summoned, and tho child v,as removed to the Wellington Public Hospital, whore be was admitted at 4.35 p.in. He had a fracture skull and concussion, and died at 5.55 p.m. As the result of being knocked down by a motor-car at Pori rim, John Duignan, aged 45, was admitted to the Wellington, Hospital at 11.45 p.m. on Saturday, suffering from injuries to the head. He is a littlebetter to-day. While ridin ga motor-cycle through Ngnhnurnnga- 'Gorge about midday yesterday, George .Mackay, aged 22, of 40 Hautana street Lower Hutt, wa s struck by a, motor car. He was admitted to the Hospital at 12.50 p.m., suering from injuries to the right Toot. His condition to-dav is reported to be satisfactory.
