The condition of Russell Slomnn, victim of the Levin tragedy, is reported to be still unaltered. Mr J. L. Stout, S.M., who uas been in ill-health for some time past, was able to take, a short 'sitting of the Magistrate’s Court iff Palmer-von yesterday. Air and Airs J. S. Patterson, manager of the Bank of Australasia, at Waipukurau since the branch was opened, over 16 years ago, is leaving to take charge of a branch in Taranaki Mi- John Robinson, a naUvc <4 Aian.sfi.eld, the oldest Oddfedow in England died last month at thte great age of 1/>6 years. He made a 20minute speech at an 'Odd fell - >w.->’ Conference recently. .
