LOANS APPROVED.
SMALL POLL OF RATEPAYERS. Press Association. Woodville, June 29. A poll of county ratepayers taken yesterday resulted in an overwhelming majority; for the proposal 4 to raise a £6OOO loan for machinery, £SOOO to complete the tar sealing of the main road, and authority to levy a bridge rate.' The polling was small, 168 for and 17 against the road loan and bridge rate and 167 for and 19 against the machinery loan.
