FEILDING STOCK SALE
All classes of sheep came forward far in excess ol advertised numbers lor die Feilding stock sale to-day, approximately 13,000 being yarned. Throughout, the yards I lie quality was good. Ewes and wethers predominated. although mixed sex and rape, lambs were largely represented. There was a medium entry ol las and he demand was fair, quotations received being on a par with late rates. For other classes sales are slightly easier, but lew passings were entered and there is every indication of an improvement as the sale goes on, \ endows were, desirous of selling within reason but buyers werecautious. There was a [urge attendance. In the fat section, lambs realised from 19s 6d to 235; wethers, 18s 2d’ to 22s Oil; ewes 14s to 19s; lour pens of stores realised from Us Od to Ts.s; two pens being passed a t 13s to 235. Other lines were: b.L lambs 7s M>d and 13s 3d, m.s. lambs 11 s, wether lambs 13s 2d. The sale for cattle opened dully at noon, and the indications ol an improvement were uncertain.
