To-day’s yarding at Addington was the biggeis't Jbl? tlie tea sou in the store sheep section, in which department there was an entry of over 50,000 head. The- sale was brisk throughout, though lab sheep and fat cattle were sarcelv up to last week’s rates.

Store Sheep.—North Island ewes were forward in heavy numbers, tho quality being the best so far this season. A goou' toned market for northern and loc.d ewes was maintained into the final stages of the sale. Lambs were in very keen demand and showed an appreciation of Is to Is Oil on last. week. Tlie sale was a really sound one. Forward rape lambs 21s to 28s; medium lambs 18s 9d to 20s Gd ;! small crossbred lambs, 18s to Ids Gd ; half bred ewe lambs, to 2 is; good threequa iter ewe lambs, 28s to 23s 9d ; good two-toothed Kouiney cross ewes 84s to 80s 9d; twotoothed Romney caoss ewes, 20s 9d to 88s; good four, six and eighttoothed Komney erdss ewes 82s -to 87s 3d; lour, six and''eight-toothed. Komney cross ewes 25s Gd to 31s; low conditioned four, six and eighttoothed halfbred ewes, 32s to 37s 9d; four and five-year-okl halfbred ewes, 25s to 80s; low conditioned sound-mouthed , ewes, 22s to 21s 6d ; failing-mouthed half bred ewes, 19s to 21s (kl; failing-'uiouthed crossbred ewes 15s to 18s 3d; aged ewes, 10s to 14s; good four six and eighttoothed wethers 25s to 27s lid ; twotoothed halfbred wpthers, 21s 3d. to 235.

Fat lambs. —A small entry of 2400 bead. The sale was generally in advance iof schedule rates. Extra prime heavy lambs to 32s id ; heavy prime lambs, 27s 3d to 29s 6d; medium weight, 25s Gd to 28s; light and inferior, 23s 0d to 255; ufilin’ ished lambs 2,0 s Gd to 235.

Fat ,Sheep.—An -entry slightly under usual dimensions and mostly ewes. The quality was good, although last week’s good prices were scarcely maintained. The sale was a good one and practically at schedule rates.
