SAIALLER QUANTITY HELD ON FA RAIS. (Aust. and N.Z. Cable). Washington, Alarch 9. The Department of Agriculture announced that the wheat- on farms on March 1 was about 99.9.7 b 900 bushels or 4.8 per cent, of the 1925 crop, as compared with 112)042,000 bushels, or 13 per cent, of the crop of 1924, held on the same date last year. 'I lie wheat in country nulls and cievn'ors totalled 70.-129,000 bushels, or 11.3 pei cent., as against 67,622,000 bushels, or 7.8 per cent.-oil the same date last year. About 68.6 per rent, of the wheat field on farms will fie shipped out of tlie counties where grown compared with 71.3 per cent. o ftbe 1924 crop.
