RETURN OF THE DIGGERS. There was a large attendance of patrons in the Tivoli’ Theatre last night, including a numerous contingent of visitors for the polo season, to welcome the return of Pat Hanna and Ills Diggers. The combine is as bright as ever, though some of the company was missing. At times laughter literally holds both its sides in an epdeavou,. to maintain life’s equilibrium. The finale, a farcical sketch in a wartime hospital war, i,, which Pat Hanna and Joe Valli carried off the side-splitting honours, was one of the most laughter-provok-ing specialities evop staged in Feilding. The singing, talent of the company is of enjoyable merit, and the dancing of (he stylish six was greatly appreciated. The male quartette was also keenly enjoyed. The programme was varied and well arranged, without any waits, whilst the orchestra, added considerably to the enjoyment of an ideal evening’s entertainment. It was a pleasure, therefore, to hear Air Hanna announce at the close of the programme that the company was so pleased with its welcome that if would return next Wednesday and give an entire change of items.
