At Westfield, there was a vert heavy yarding of beet, especially ol cows, the majority of which were not finished The yarding was in excess of requirements, and prices eased somewhat. Cattle. —Extra choice and prime ox made to 82s, choice, and primei 28s t o3ls, ordinary 26s to 275, prime young cow and heifer beef 26s to 28s. ordinary 22s to 245, rough 17s to »is. Sheep.—-There was a large yarding Competition was fair and prices were about on a par with the Christmas sale. No extra heavy, prime wethers were penned. Heavy prime wethers made 81s, medium 28s 0d to 80s; small ami unfinished 24s to 20s 0:1. heavv and medium prime owes 20s to 245, light and unfinished 17s 6d to 2 Is. Lambs. —-There was an extra heavy yarding, Values on the whole being somewhat easier and bidding erratic. Heavy prime lambs made 25s to 27s ; light, prime, lambs 21s to 24s Oil; unfinished 12s to 17s; shorn lambs, 21s to 22s 9d. Pigs. Tlier? was a somewhat smaller yarding. Competition was good and before Christmas prices were maintained. Heavy and medium haeoners made £1 to £4 ss, light haeoners and heavy porkers, £2 7s to £0 15s, medium and light porkers £2 2s tiii £B. Calves.--- Tbsre was a heavy yarding.
