Whilst no doubt the future- of. the wool market is exercising the minds ol' our growers, it is pleasing to note that so far this year the product oi the Feihling District Inis held its own in competition with other producing centres. Jn the AV-elliugtou November sale the J’onmey clip from Mr J. Dillon Hocking, of Kiwitea, submitted in the cataogue of. flic N.Z. (Farmers’ \Oo-op. 'Distributing Co., topped the market for its class of Romney wool. Again in the December sale Mr Hocking iceeived top price for the remainder of his clip. Thus this Kiwitea grower has maintained the record for the past three seasons, which speaks well for the grazing properties of the Fcildiug dist rift.
