VICTIM OF BATHING TRAGEDY. Press Association. Invercargill, January G. Tlie body of a young man, Donald McDonald, who was drowned while bathing at Ocean Beach, on December 27, was recovered this afternoon about a mile away from the scene of the tragedy. An inquest was held to-night, when a verdi<*t of accidental drowning was returned and a recommendation was made for a notice to be erected warning bathers of the dangerous nature of the beach. It was also decided to bring under the notice of the proper authorities the action of Desond Harlaml in attempting to rescue McDonald from drowning.
