PALESTINE CAMPAIGN.

THE NEW ZEALAND BRIGADE. BOND WITH COMMON WEALTH. In the course of an interview in Dunedin Mr Harry S. Gullett, of Australia, who wrote the official war history of the Australians in Palestine, said the particular pleasure he had had in his two visits to New Zealand during the past 12 months had been, his meeting with members of the New Zealand Mounted Bides Brigade, which served in Palestine.

“In Australia we are intensely proud of the. records of our 14 light horse regiments,” lie said, “ but a common remark among Australians is that your New Zealand brigade was the most excellently equipped and most efficient brigade in Palestine. I am sure that the bond between the New Zealand Brigade and the Australian mounted men is one which will endure for ever. In General Sir Edward duty tor, New Zealand possessed one of the finest leaders of mounted men in the Empire.”
