At the. Whnkapapa lmt a new social hall has been built, and with, svioh handy incidentals as hob and cold water laid on it is quite up-to-date.

For this time- of the year there is a. fair amount of snow on the mountains, and some of the members of the Ruapehu Ski Club are camped at the Glacier Hut, 6000 feet up on Ruapehu, and are having winter spor,ts.
