TAKING PEASANTS FROM ATTICS IN HOLLAND. (Aust. and N.Z. Cable). . Amsterdam, Jan. 3. The whole region between the rivers Meuse and Waal is at presentflooded. Military. police in boats are at present rescuing peasant families fro matties of farm houses. Roads and railway dykes are crowded with people who fled from their homes, leaving till their properly behind. 'l'lie level of the Meuse and the Rhine have risen a. further 20 inches during the last 24 hours.
The streets of Yeulo are flooded t > a depth of 40 incites. Utrecht is also under water.
