It was stated that the animal Tad killed 114 human beings. Sixteen Indians were employed since October in attempts to destroy tt by poison and other methods. All proved futile.
European sportsmen voluntarily assisted the others, and met with thrilling adventures. But th e leopard was oo cunning, it evaded all manner of devices for its destruction.
