QUESTION OF A NAME. London, Dec. 9. An American named Tattenliam Corner has written to the Epsom Council, declaring that lie believed himself to be the only person of that name in the world. He had recently heard that tffe name belonged to a part, of Epsom racecourse, and was very anxious to trace why it had been, used in that connection. The Council replied that it was believed that the name/was used before' America was discovered, and that it belonged to Saxon times, being originally spelt “Tatenam.”
