RESTRICTION IN USE OF THE HOSE.

Although there is at present no occasion for alarm in. connection with

the municipal water supply, it has v been decided to restrict the use of garden hoses on the part of eonshmers as follows: West of West street, 5.30. p.m. .to 6 p.m., and East of est street, 0 p.m. to 0.30 p.m.

The reservoir caretaker has reported that, although, water is flowing freely at the intake, the reservoirs are not gaining their levels during the night, hours, which is an indication that garden hoses are being used indiscriminately during that •period.

Any consumer causing an infringement of these restrictions will he liable to a prosecution or disconnection of service.
