LEAGUE OF NATIONS
MOSUL DECISION POSTPONED. (Aust. and N.Z. Cable). London, September 20. “By postponing the Mosul decision which, it had undertaken to give, the League Council has prolonged a situation which may at any moment compel Britain to take nction to protect the mandatory State, and adverise to eastern people: ‘We are nc longer willing or able to fulfil our’ obligations,’” states the Times in a loader. ‘‘The League will never acquire a reputation for coinage, as essential as impartiality and knowledge, if it throws doubt on itown jurisdiction and competence whenever causes of real gravity come before it.”
