AURORA AUSTRALIS
A GORGEOUS S RECTA CEE Press Association. Mast.frtnii. Sept. 21. A vivid’ display of the gorgeouslycoloured Aurora- Australis was oilserved in Mastertoii; this evening. Tho phenomena commenced shortly before seven o’clock, lasting for 30 minutes; and kaleidoscopic changes of riehlv-toned orange, pink and red, relieved with faint rays heavenward, resembled a searchlight display and presented a rare spectacle (A very line display of the wonderful “Southern light” was witnessed in Wanganui).
