JTALCOA! BE DISPUTE CONSIDERED. A meeting of the management committee controlling the I'eilding Hockey Association was held last night, Air V. A. Sutton presiding. The Holcombe Club wrote disputing the presentation ol the Bramwell Clip to the Ohakea (Huh made by one of the Association’s representatives in August last. In the final of the ladies’ competition, it will he remembered, the Cup was played lor by Ohakea and Hal-r-omlie, Lire result being a no-score draw after 20 minutes’ extra time. Wlien the presentation was made to Ohakea 'it was generally understood that that Club was In hold the Cup till the opeuig of the nexl season, and then play Haleombe to decide the 1920 winners. Haleombe lodged an objection to this procedure, stating that thev had received no official notification in regal’d tcl.*.this matter nor any answer to Club’s letter socking information'. Their position was that they must either forfeit-or play to lose.

In fairness to the Association, it. should he stated that no meeting of the .viaiiageinent Commitloo has been held since the Halcotiibe Club wrote them, and consequently no reply laid I toe* 11 given. The final ladies’ representative match of this season is to take place iii Feilding against a rep. team, from Pallia tun on Wednesday, the 30th List.

arrangements for. the Primary Schools’ five and seven aside tournament have been finalised. The Secretary stated Hint entries so far number 20 teams from schools throughout the Feilding and ATanawatu districts.
