A gang of proto-men searched all morning for the entombed man bub the air was so bad they were compelled to leave the mine, which will be sealed. There is little hope of now finding Crisp alive. So far. there are no signs of fire. 'Die explosion occurred eight hundred yards from the mouth of the tunnel.
