There was a large'liLlendanee of the Order at tlie Town Hall this afternoon at a lodge hi sorrow held in memory of the late Most Worshipful Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of New Zealand. Rt. Hon. W. F. Massey. The service, which was Held under Lhe .inspires ol the ’Wellington city and suburban lodges, was*‘conducted hv the .Provincial Grand Master R.W. Bro. George Russell. Ail eloquent eulogy of the late Grand Master as ;r Mason, as a statesman of the Dominion and the Empire ,and a.s a man', was pronounced by. Y.W. Bro. Rev. W. Sliiror. Past Grand Chaplain. Suitable solos and hymns were sung and.the organist (Bro. Parker) played Chopin’s funeral march. The hall was tastefully draped in purple and black.
