Alasscy. It is proposed, the letter explains, to have a monument erected at Point llalswell, where Mr Massey was buried, and also to have a statue placed in Parliament House grounds. All eiiizeiiss are invited to .subscribe to this object.
I’lie Mayor intends to open a list in Feilding and invite residents to subscribe. The Town Clerk will act as honorary treasurer and all subscriptions will be acknowledged in the Star.
