Grown fought gamely until the last few seconds of the 20 rounds, when lie was knocked out. If was apparent live, rounds earlier that lie could not w *n and the spectators shouted to the second to throw in the- towel. Bombardier Wells wag* knocked (nit in the third round of a Jdiound contest by Jack Stanley. Wells was booed.
