MANAWATIj COUNTY COUNCIL. ■\TOTICE is hereby gimi tliafc the jLM Manawafcii County Council proposes to raise a Special Loan under “The Local Bodies Loans Act, '19.1:},” and all other powers thereto enabling as follows 1. The purpose of the Loan is (a) to provide the Council’s Contribution under “The Alain Highways Act, 1922,” and amendments thereto, towards llie construction or re-construction of the Main Highways throughout the C'ounty of IManawatu and within No. 9 Highway District, os mentioned in the New Zealand /Gazette dated 12th June, 1924, and (b) to provide the necessary plant and machinery for carrying out the said work of construction. or ire-construction of such Main.
