FEILDING STOCK SALE.
SHEEP AND CATTLE..EASTER
At Feilding stock sale yesterday there was a large yarding of sheep for the time of the year, hut competition, except lor two or three pons, was very slack. Prices were easier all round, and a good proportion were passed. Some exceptionally good fat heavy-affined 2-tooth wethers made 49s and a line of 400 fat and forward Romnew 2-tooth wethers made 38s. Fat lambs, 24s d, 27s Bd, 28s, 29s 7d, 3Gs 6d; fat wethers made 32s 9d, 38s 6d, to 495; ewes, 25s Gd, 275. 29s 6d to 325; Lincoln good-skinned 2-tooth ewes r.w. Romney raifis were passed in at 38s. Medium class owes r.w. S. D. rams, 28s 9d, 30s; fair Romney ewe lambs, 27s Bd, 285,; small do. in good condition, 22s id; good shorn wether lambs, 255; very fair woolly wether lambs, 25s 3d medium shorn w.f, lambs, 19s Gd, 20s Gd, 20s 9d; good b.f. h mbs 255; medium ditto. 18s 7d, 21s 3d; small 12s Gd. There was a medium yarding of cattle. Competition was very poor. Prices for both fat and store cattle wero easier than previous rates. A large proportion were passed in. Good fat bullocks sold at /S 17s Gd to T 9; medium ditto. £7 3s, to .£8 17s; good fat cows, £5 5s £5 7s Gd to £5 14s; mixed coloured forward bullocks, £7 15s.
