AUCKLAND SECURES IT. UNIVERSITY SENATE’S RESOLUTION. (Per Press Association) Wellington, Fob. 20. To-day the Senate of the New Zealand University again considered the question of education in Agriculture. The Hon. Geo. Fowlds, in moving that the Auckland University College be recognised as the School of Agriculture, said the bequest of £‘20,000 was made by the late Sir John Campbell for the establishment of a Chair of Agriculture at Auckland, and tipplications had been .invited for the position of Professor.

The Hon. Air Hanan seconded the motion which was supported by Air Aclarnl, Professor Hunter, Professor Bakewell and others, and the motion Was carried by 22 votes to one, the dissentient being Air Delama re.
