According to these allegations the grip of the combine held on the consumers of timber in New South Wales is shown by the fact that the New Zealand Government obtains similar timber as supplied the New South Wales Railway Commissioners at- 3s to 7s per hundred feet lower landed at New Zenland ports, than paid by the Commissioners at Sydney.
