In their second innings the Africans scored 204-Taylor 47, Nourse 91. Falcon took five wickets for 103, and Readsmore, a left-hander four for '53,. taking alhhis iwickets at the pml for four runs.

Nourse and Taylor made a. plucky effort, putting on 100 runs in 110 minutes.
