The Feilding Star Oroua and Kiwitea Counties' Gazette FRIDAY, AUGUST 22, 1924. THE QUALITY THAT TELLS
That i.s the very best quality. The Chairman ami his colleagues of tlve directorate, of th< v Cheltenham Co.-op. Dairy Co. are touring the country districts of EelldVng, wherein the company has very large interests, explaining matters prior to the holding of the annual meeting, here in Feilding. Many of the suppliers are so far out hack and arc so busy that they cannot hope to attend the Podding meeting. Therefore the directorate i,s acting very iwis.<?ly- hi; going out to meet the men who matter in the district so far as dairying is concerned. Mr Dormer and ids have boon emphasising tire need for suppliers to give of their very best. The timely, advice is backed up by the technical and expert heads out of the company's factory. If the factory does rmt get the very best cream it cannot hope to continue to put on the English market a butter that is going to compete successfully with the product of Denmark. To which we would add that it is no good having a close organisation and the. facility of a Dairy Produce Board if first quality cream is not going to be provided at the factory. Tile experts have told and keep on telling our dairymen what they should do to achieve this desired result. It is up to the farmer now to meet the requirements of this age—the demand for only the highest quality butter for home and overseas consumption.
