IMPORTANT RECOMMENDATTONS
The Prime Minister last night laid on the table of the House the report of the Royal Commission recently appointed to inquire into the present system of land and' income taxation in all its aspects. ft is a lengthy document and recommends, interalia, that the fiscal policy of flic Dominion should he shaped so as to secure the.abolition,. as soon as is reasonably practicable, of the present system of company taxation. Important and complicated recommendations are made regarding graduated land tax in its various; forms.
