STEEL HELMETS OF THE FRONT LINE. WARRANT AND UT..\!T.\ ESS. (By Eiectrfe Cable. —Copyright). (Aust. and N.Z. Cable Association). (Received Ainrch 25, 10.25 a.m.) .Munich, March 25. Von Knilling, the Bavarian Premier, and Von Lersner, who was President of file Dorman peace dele, .nation at Versailles, were the principal speakers at a mass demonstration of the Steel Helmet League o. Front Line Soldiers, held in .Munich. The League is divided into 2500 groups, with over a million members. The object of the meeting was obviously to persuade the other Nationalist organisations to make common cause with the League in the foreeoming elections to establish a programme acceptable to all the wings of the German Nationalists. Von Lersner described the \ ersail. les Treaty as the most terrible weapon of oppression in the world’s history, declaring it was based on the infamous lie ihat Germany alone was responsible for the war. Germany would go under unless the treaty was fundamentally revised. Germany's greatest weakness had been the disunion of the Nationalist organisations. if those could be united, they would be able to go forward to victory. Von. K nil ling used similar language.
