E. Jones' rink by two points. The ..scores before the last head, were:Palmerston North, Wilson, Llamsay, Neodham, Jones (s) 21 v. Keilding, Quail, Clanham, Herdman, IJartholomciv (s) 21. Mr jA. k\ Winsett, secretary to the Manawatu Centre, states that the conditions which govern the Dixon. Cup and Tucker Badges also apply to the Mauson and ihur Cup, namely that in the event of a draw the holders retain the trophy. CLUB FORMED IN SUVA A well attended meeting held at Suva recently sigreed to form a bowling-club in Fiji, a large membership being guaranteed. A letter was read at the meeting from Mr 0. ■) ■ Harford, of Feilding, urging the formation of a bowling green, ami stating that he already had .several
friends pledged to come along and spend the winter mouths in Suva. A provisional committee was appointed to (]r:ift rules .take stops to provide a green, and prepares a scheme for getting the club going.
