Conservatives would have 'won 207 instead of 214, Labour 168. instead of 189, and Liberals IG4 instead of 139, Independents 9 instead of G. The Labourites are taking legal advice over the counting "of votes in Sedgefield, which the Conservatives won with a majority of six. The' complaint is based on the fact that a hundred properly marked voting papers had been rejected because they had not ben stamped by the polling booth officer.
