THE GOVERNOR-G EN ERAL. The Governor-General, Lord J'ellicoe, sailed the Iron Duke in the Victoria Cruising Club's harbor races at Auckland on Saturday. lhs Excellency will leave for Cambridge to-morrow morning, where he will unveil the district war memorial and a memorial window in the Cambridge Anglican Church on the afternoon of the same day. He will be entertained by the Freemason's bodge during the evening. His Excellency will then proceed to Poiikawa, Ilawko's Hay, where he will he the guest of Mr it. Campbell. He will present the prizes at the breaking-up ceremonies of the Tona College and Wood-ford House at Have lock North on the evening of the L2th and loth December respectively. Lord Jel lime will unveil the war memorial at Taradaie, and visit, the Old Peoples Home at Parke Island on Sunday, December 10. Accompanied by the Hon. .Myrtle and Hon. Norah jelliooe, his Excellency will leave Hawke's Hay on .Monday, December 17, and is expected to arrive in Auckland on the following Tuesday
