Cable Association;.Received July 6, 9.15 a.m.) London, July 5. The Daily Express says that as a sequel lu the first duel since the revolution, Tertolf, an officer of the Red Army, and Nina Mochovilli, a well-known stage beauty, have been charged with murdering Dyokonolt, an officer belonging to the military academy. The prosecution demanded tne death sentences. The trial is the result of a pistol duel fought in a park at Moscow at dawn, the victor being promised the hand of Mochevilli. The officers, who were old friends in the same regiment, kissed each other on the cheeks according to Russian custom, and firDyokonoff was mortally wounded. The girl, who was a witness of the duel, rushed nn and held the dying officer in her arms. The Court sentenced Tertolf to lb months' imprisonment, and released the girl. . The prosecution's demand for the extreme penalty was due to a fear that the army was reverting to the Czarist custom of duelling.
