ENGINEERS' LOCK-OUT
PARTIES REACH TENTATIVE AGREEMENT. (By Electric Cable—Copyright.} ( Aus .-N .Z. Cable Association.) London, May 21. A tentative agreement, involving a modification of the employers' former proposals, has been reached in the engineering lock-out, at a conference of representatives of the employers and 47 unions, excluding the Amalgamated Engineers, who declined to attend. The agreement is to be submitted to members of the unions concerned.
