Owing to the election the Chamber of Deputies of Deput" Picciuato, a Fascist, for the Venetian town of Rovigo _ being annulled, squadrons of Fascist! troops from Padua and rTerrara occupied the town, where they are attacking the Socialists and clergy. A number of casualties are reported, but the authorities are powerless to do anything.
