BARBARITIES OF BELFAST. (By Electric Cable—Copyright.) (Aust. and N.Z. Cable Association. London, May 15. Belfast, on Sunday, was the scene of a series of fiendish outrages, extending into the afternoon and evening ,when shooting was general in various areas. The victims icluded a young boy and a girl aged twelve. JTwo women were shot dead and fourteen others wounded. The authorities take a very grave view of the position, and fear further extensive outbreaks. SOUTHERN ELECTIONS. TO TAKE PLACE ON JUNE 16. The general election in Southern Ireland will probably be held on June 16. The Labour Party has not acted yet, and is awaiting the result of the Peace Conference, which it ; s believed has found new ground to explore. Workers have seized seven condnesed milk factories in the South, working them on the Soviet system u/'der the Red Flag.
