The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. reports: At Apiti on Thursday we had only a small yarding which sold readily at good values: 2th. wethers (small) 10s 7d; m.a. ewes r.w. Romney rams, 17s 3d; m.s. lambs (small), 10s Id; small lambs, 5s sd. At Feilding on Friday a moderate yarding of both sheep and cattle came forward. There was a slightly easier tone in the sheep pens both in fats and stores. Cattle sold at last week s rates. Fat ewes, 14s sd; fat w.i. lambs, 18s; fat cows, £3 14s, £3 los, £4 Cs, £4 10s to £4 16s : 4yr. bullocks, £4 10s; store cows, 23s Gd; weaner heifers 37s to £2 ss.
