The town was lavishly decorated and the Prince was accorded an enthusiastic reception by the great crowds lining the streets en route to Omiya Palace, whers he resides this week. In the afternoon the Prince visited and placed wreaths on the mausoleum of the late Emperor in the presence of hig. dignitaries. At 'night there was a lantern procession.
