HYDRO-ELECTRICAL SCHEME.
ANOTHER STAGE REACHED. In pursuance of the-Minister of Public Works declaration-that power from the Mangakao hydro-electric works will be available for disposal to power boards by tile end of 1923 at the latest, the poles for the main transmission line are now being delivered along the Bunnythorpe-Kai-ranga road. The poles are of ironbark, and it is understood that a start will be made with their erection very shortly. e ■ v 's <s ■
