TVTOTTCE is hc-reby given that at ’ a Special Meeting of the Oroua County Council bold on the 15th day of February, 1922, it was resolved:— That in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Counties Act, 1908, and the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913, the Oroua County Council hereby resolves as follows: That for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of fivo hundred pounds sterling authorised to be raised by the above mentioned Acts for the purpose of purchasing land and erecting a roadman’s cottage at Colyton, the said Oroua County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of l-90tli of a penny, in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of capital value) of all rateable property within the Taoimi Riding, and that such rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the Burrencv of such loan and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and ahalf years or until the loan is fully paid off. It is the intention to pay out of the said loan the cost of raising the same. It is hereby further notified that a Special Meeting of the Council will he held in the Council Chambers, Fcildnig, at 2 p.m., on WEDNESDAY, APRIL 12, 1922, to confirm the above resolution. ROY L. That tho Oroua County Council proceed to raise under the provisions of “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913,” and in pursuance of all other Acts and powers enabling it in that behalf, a Special Loan of Five hundred pounds for tho purpose of purchasing land and erecting a Roadman’s Cottage at Colvton. 2 That such loan bo .called “The Colvton Roadman’s Cottage Loan of £500.” 3. That the interest on the said loan shall be at the rate of Four pounds ten shillings per centum per annum, and be payable half-yearly on the first day of April and October in each year. 1. That the. curroncy of such loan bo for a period of Thirty-six and a half-years, or until the loan . is fully paid oil'. 5. That the security for such loan be a special annual recurring rate of 1/90 of a penny in the pound sterling upon the rateable value (on the basis of capital value) of all rateable, property within the Taonui Riding, and that such rate be payable yearly on tho first day of April in each year during the curcncy of such loan.
