TOO HIGH VALUATIONS.

AUCKLAND PROTESTS. (Per Press Association.) Auckland, Mar. 13. As the outcome of tho recent increases in Government valuations, a meeting of city property owners decided to form a Property Owners’ Association. A commitee was appointed to confer with the Chambers of Commerce on the action to bo taken, and it was decided to prepare a memorial to the Valuer-General protesting against the valuations and the methods of assessment.
