BOY KILLED AT HONIKIWI

A very sad fatality occurred at Honikiwi last Thursday morning, when the young son of Mr and Mrs Collins, a bright lad of about 11 years, was kicked by a horse, with fatal consequences. The little fellow was busy flicking Hies off tho hindquarters and legs of a horse, and had just turned his back to the horse when suddenly the horse kicked him in tho small of tho back. He was hurried off to To Awainutu, but despite all efforts of the doctor, who at once operated, the littlo fellow expired before tho operation was completed.
