WOMAN PUT IN HER PLACE. Paris. "Woman's place is at home, and -:ie should stay there." That is the opinion of the Mtinicial Board of Versailles, who considred a proposal that women should -e eligible for the higher municipal JOStS. The report on the proposal adds :hat women should not l>o encouraged :<> apply for administrative positions, .•at should remember that they would io better to confine their activities to the home.
