At the Addington market to-day there was ,-i large attendance The ynrdings of fat sheep and cattle were big. Store sheep were yarded in small numbers, but in othei sections the peunings were about the average. Store Sheep .—-The yarding was one of the smallest for a long time. The entry consisted chiefly of ewes and hoggets. Bidding was lifeless and sales were difficult to make. Fat Sheep.—About 12 full race: were sent forward, mostly wethers The quality generally was good, witl some really prime .stuff. Bidding open, ed at slightly lower rates than last week's, and all round there was an easing in values of about Is per head Four freezing buyers operated. Extra prime wethers realised 23s 6d to 2& od. prime IBs 9d to 22s 9d. mediim 13s 9d to 18a, light and unfinished Mto 13s 3d, prime ewes 13s Ms 9d. light and unfinished 10s '.ld to 12s 9d, prinii hoggets Us 9d to 20s Id. ordinarv 9s 0d to 1,3 s M.
Fat Cattle.—The quality all round was above the average. The sale opened moderately well, but the demand eased as it, progressed, prices receding by 30s to 10s per head. Extra prime steers realised £2l 13s. prime £l3 to £lßs 7s Od, medium £lO 10s to £ll l()s. light and unfinished CO to £lO, extra prime heifers CM los, prune £9 15s to £lO 10s, ordinary £5 to £O, prime cows £9 to £l2 los, ordinary cows £3 13s to £8 10s. \ ealers.—Runnels realised £7. good vealers £3 10s to Co, medium -C2 10s to £3 3s small £5 to £2 3s.
