Sir, —As the paragraph in Saturday's jStau,, stating that a private screening of the picture "The End of the Road'' 'had been given before several prominent, citizens, the names of some being given, mine included,, might imply that I approved of the picture, I wish to say that I did notapprove of it, and that_ I wrote, tpthe Lyceum Co. immediately after giving them my respectful and honest opinion.—l am. etc., C.
