OPENING OF ST. JOHN'S

COURTS

Two asphalt courts have been laid clown on the Parish Hall grounds tor the St. John's Tennis Club, and the "official opening of the courts and ot the club took place on Saturday afternoon. Visitors and players were welcomed by Archdeacon Innes Jones. The llev. G. F. Stoukwell, xpeatina; for the Wesley Club, acknowledged tho invitation and the kndly welcome. Liberal refreshments provided by ladies of the congregation helped to make the afternoon pleasant. The ilannel dance held the same evening in the Parish Hall was a great success.
